Don't rely on just one source of poker advice.
I like to listen to many different views on poker and formulate my own style and strategy.

That's so funny and typical. I tried to teach my brother my formula for success online poker. He can't do it. He sticks with it for a while and
right to a cash game to make the quick buck. 3 hours later he's broke.

I am starting to believe that poker is not a game anyone can learn.
Sure you can learn the basic skills, but the instincts needed to be a winner, I think, you are born with.

I think that when I put a lot of mental energy on my action, with the belief that im doing the right action, my game works much better. Off course there is the racional thing, but the unique felling u get every and each hand can say u something. Thats why a newbie can play wonders. He can recive this extra information from I dont know where.!!!

I usually get my advice from Klinkman, which is pretty damn good advice, I must say. However, I've also learned how he plays so it's a little easier for me to exploit that at the tables sometimes. Not always, but sometimes. And I'm still a lot more careful with AK than he is!

I always get good helpful advice from eejit! Seriously, he knows what he's talking about as he's obviously won 65k doing this at some point. Eejit is a very rational and thoughtful player and that's helpful for me as I'm not as engrossed in the game as some and am therefore able to distance myself slightly from bad beats. Eejit's attitude about them is much like mine it seems which is refreshing to see in someone who plays poker a hell of a lot more than me!

So I'd say aside from friends like klinkman and others here, I get my "professional" advice from eejit and others here at NDN. Which is one of the reasons I'm a member, to better my game!

I just meant that was a huge win especially for one tournament and more than I think 99 percent of us can ever hope/expect to win in a tourney! I know that's not your lifetime winnings lol.

The thing is if you all pick up knowledge, read stuff, learn stuff, and slowly move up, i see no reason why everyone here cant win close to that or more than that at some stage

well poker advice comes a dime a dozen but for me i like to hear what the winners think. when i say winner i mean people with a good sample size of games and a decent ROI%. I read thourgh alot of eejit stuff and he makes some damn good points and give great advice. lilred has some good advice also...not trying to take anything away from him. overall i will listen to anyone and what they got to say but doesnt mean i will use it unless it makes sence to me. nothing worst then giving advice or trying to help someone who doesnt understand a damn thing your saying. in the end i think you got to be the one that trust yourself and your moves. if your second guessing yourself all the time then all the great poker advice you get is worthless. also if you recieve all this great advice and then dont put it to work then you just wasted your time and the other persons time. dont read it then just forget about. people who made money doing this have to be doing something right and it might be a good thing to listen to them.
