This hand, community and river made me vomit

I'm holding AK, flop AK3, great sitting on two pair so why not bet big to get okes out.
I get one caller, thinking he has ace pair.
Turn 6, nothing card, bet big, he calls.
River K. Now i got Kings full aces.

As i go allin, this dude calles me!!!!!!

Dammit the only hand that could be me with the community was AA and you know what he had it!!

Wanted to smash my screen, lol

Took a 2 week brake from poker

1. top 2 pair bet less to keep whatever "okes" are in.
2. if he calls your flop bet then bet 1/2 of the pot and reevaluate the river.
3. please ALWAYS go broke on this hand, but i prefer bet/calling his river all in.

ya, i guess so... its one of those hands where you get bad beaten and cant do much. I seriously thought I had the nuts thats why i went allin.

This is one of the very rare occasions where no matter how good you are you will lose all of your money. Set over set, nut flush vs 2nd nut flush (with only 3 on board), Boat vs Quads, Nut flush vs Straight Flush etc...
Nothing you can do but get on with it and win the money back, Perfect example of why people should not risk a large portion of there bankroll in any one go.
