It was at Harrahs in st. louis...
I play alot more tight live. it seems online there is always so many callers that im always trying to make something happen with a drawing hand. I barley play anything below A,J out of late position and anything lower then J,10 - A,X or K,X suited in late position.
I double up in first 10 mins with some ahole that went to the river with me with poket 5's when the flop came 2,4,Q and I held A,Q...
Then maybe 20 mins later I doubled up again when the flop came k,4,4 and I held 8,4 in the BB. The guy raised preflop about 5x the BB and held A,4 suited. I caught a 8 on the river... LUCKY...
I won enuff blinds after that with big raises with premium hands, A.Q 10,s A,J... Until the final 16 when I was limped in the BB with one guy. I had 6,8 suited, he had Ace sumthing. Flop came A,6,7 I think... all in there on the flop... Turn 6, River 6 hahahaha.
Then it was pretty much tight as hell play til the final 5... One guy had half the chips in play. Me and the guy to my left were the short stacks. I raised with my BB hand K,6 diamonds against one limper. He insta called with queens. Flop came Q,J,10 but I busted.
I lost cuz i was folding to many of my blinds. A couple of times I could have defended with K,X something but I was trying to just sneek into third to get there entry into the once a month tournamnt of champions that the top 3 finishers win, Along with the money...
Also I was doing alot of big raise blind stealing with premium hands. I should have seen a couple more flops then I did with those hands.
I seem to play alot better when the blinds move slower or its a deeper stack tournament.
