    Default just after first break!!

one of my problems is after first break, about an hour and a half. if it is a twenty dollar tourny i can pretty much stay focesed but on a freeroll some how i end up saying oh well it was free so what and end up playing foolish also i am familiar with the phrase ;a chip and a chair; but a freeroll and its like "gone in 60 seconds" and on a 20.00 tourny i can with a little luck make it another hour or so , is this a sign of needing more practice, patience or what??? has anyone else cured this ill ? and how??

When playing a freeroll you need to treat it like it's a buy in tournament. Sure you have nothing to lose, but if you assign a value to the time invested that might help you keep your focus. Another idea is put some music up on your computer and listen to that. That helps me isolate every other sound, which can lead to distractions during the long grinding tournaments. Practice and patience always help people do better.

I think All this but the inverse way..
I before I used to play lots of cash games, and would won some money, iven if low amount most of the time.
    Then I got busted.
Started playing lots of free tournaments.
    won some.
Now I play on the tables like im at a tournamet..
calling with mid pairs sometimes and getting busted..
iven at the NDN tables, I think would be better at tournaments than money tables.

Yea, freerolls can be extremely frustrating in that even if you play it disciplined, knowing that money or prizes of value are there for you if you win in the long run, the people around you wont play in the same way. Playing it disciplined will be extremely hard and annoying but it will end up helping you in the long run. For instance, when i play disciplineed what happens most of the time is i play very little hands and end up getting my money in with a great dominating hand AA KK QQ AK AQ etc. Then what usually happens is the big stack undisciplined person ends up winning with a 36 off suit. If you watch the end of freerolls though, those type of players dont last. So you just have to play disciplined and stay alive when your in with the best hand, and by the end only the disciplined are usually left battling for the money

You know eddie patients is very important. However to learn them we must be tried and trials of this type can be quite bad on a person. I once prayed like crazy for patients and things just kept getting worse and worse. Then finally I realized I was being tried so I could learn them. Then one day I decided I didn't want any .... none at all. The only patients I want shall be in a hospital. I think it would have been easier if we could have all just been born with them. Don't you? Hope you can fix your problem here.
