Bear in mind i went alone, as the first one is one of my all time top 5 favourite movies.... I expected a fair amount but not alot.

However......

This film is catergorically the best film ive seen in 10-15 years.

Only other ones i can think of that were "as good", are Casino Royale, Transformers 1, Shawshank.


Seriously, if you havent seen this one, or the first one, go watch both.

If you thought the first one was ok, or didnt like it, go watch it again.

Im in shock, it was literally over 2 hours or sheer brilliance. (after the first 15 minute intro)

I would like to see who else besides Eejit thinks this is the best movie in 10 years. I haven't read a good review yet. cept for Eejits

One of these involves a dog-like robot humping the leg of the heroine. Such are the meager joys. Then close your eyes and use your imagination.

Aware that this movie opened in England seven hours before Chicago time and the morning papers would be on the streets, after writing the above I looked up the first reviews as a reality check. I was reassured: "Like watching paint dry while getting hit over the head with a frying pan!" (Bradshaw, Guardian); "Sums up everything that is most tedious, crass and despicable about modern Hollywood!" (Tookey, Daily Mail); "A giant, lumbering idiot of a movie!" (Edwards, Daily Mirror). The first American review, Todd Gilchrist of Cinematical, reported that Bay's "ambition runs a mile long and an inch deep," but, in a spirited defense, says "this must be the most movie I have ever experienced." He is bullish on the box office: it "feels destined to be the biggest movie of all time." It’s certainly the biggest something of all time.

Its awesome.

the plot does get a bit thin occasionally, but Michael Bay is awesome and this film is awesome

What is the most awesome? the computer graphics? The special effects or Michael Bay?
Because if it is Michael Bay i Wil not watch it...
I like special effects..
That final Fantasy II final fight is just very awesome too i think..

Michael Bay is the director.... so he is awesome cos the film is awesome.

And the special effects are uneblievabel

I was reading a review today with Megan Fox and Michael Bay and they were saying what we already know - that Megan Fox is solely in the movie because she is a fox.

I thought the first Transformers was pretty good and will probably check out the sequel here shortly. Mostly to see Megan Fox.

Anyway, I've always been a Transformers fan and can't possibly miss out on the movie of the year.
