One of my favorites pertaining to sports and loving something to the extreme... every guy will laugh at this joke, i promise lol

It's Game 7 of the Stanley Cup Final, and a man makes his way to his seat right at center ice. He sits down, noticing that the seat next to him is empty. He leans over and asks his neighbor if someone will be sitting there. "No" says the neighbor. "The seat is empty." "This is incredible," said the man. "Who in their right mind would have a seat like this for the Stanley Cup and not use it?" The neighbor says, "Well, actually, the seat belongs to me. I was supposed to come with my wife, but she passed away. This is the first Stanley Cup we haven't been to together since we got married." "Oh, I'm so sorry to hear that. That's terrible... But couldn't you find someone else, a friend or relative, or even a neighbor to take the seat?" The man shakes his head. "No,” he says. “They're all at the funeral."

YESSS. Anything with hockey gets me fired up. I played since I was in 1st grade up until I was 20 at Missouri State U. I am glad some other people are starting to talk about and like hockey more now, I know for a while here the US it kind of fizzed out the subsequent years after the strike, which was really annoying because you could barely find a channel on the TV to watch the different games. But now you see some of the stuff covered on the big ESPN shows and there are car companies sponsoring the NHL and the interest is really beginning to spike again, halleulueah (spelling?) Even on pardon the interruption they brought up when Crosby kindof skeeted out of the handshake after the penguins took it down, and went straight to the cup or whatever. And of course all they could talk about was the ethics, and nothing to do with the actually skill of the players or the course of game, IMO because they have no clue about anything surrounding hockey, but atleast ESPN is putting it back on display. Did anyone see mario lemieux all dressed up in a suit, is he really that big of a figure of pittsburgh sports? I mean he was good, really good, but i never thought he was an icon of his generation, if Jagr wasn't such a puckhog he would have stolen the spotlight for sure
