What if we all played by the book?

I dont care, in drunk - so here is what i think, put blatently and to the point.

I post what i post about poker to imprvoe your games. I know for a fact i dont liten to myself quite often, and that causes me to lose more often tha i should.

The BASE FACTS of the matter is that some of the people on this forum are good players, they just need fine tuning for some slight errors. Some IMO are complete donks.

Im probably going to get banned for this post but screw it.


The weaknesses i see in some peoples games are horrendous. As i have some small kind of image in this forum i do my best to point out those weaknesses and post articles/comments, so people can leave and better their games.

Noone listens. I know not of ONE SINGLE PERSON who has real anything ive written and done something about it.

If i didnt know what i know id be a much worse player than i was.

And as i am the ONLY forum member current to have a big score in an MTT, no one, or twice, but SEVERAL times, and also to have alifetime ROI in positive figures in all MTT and SNGs, i think my advice should be pretty much taken as gospel and listened to.


I am not asking that you adapt your style to fit mine, im just asking you read what i take the time to write to see if any of what i write can be used to hep you

I guess i feel frustrated that i take sometimes 1 hour to write a pretty damn awesome poker post, then watch every single person who reads it not change a god damn thing about their play.


If people want to call prelfop to a 3bet with KQ suited, feel free. If you want to squeeze play with something like 78 feel free. All i want is that you know youre just giving your chips away when you do it, before you do it.

IMO every single one of my posts on this subject (that i recently highlighted in a big link thread, that 19 people read, and 7 of those views were me, so either 12 or less people read) has some kind of valid information that you can use.



As for ringos point - if playing by the book makes you a robot.

Does it hell. Everyone can choose times to be agressive or not at stages, and figure out hgow to play their own game. All im teaching are basic fundmanetals of the game, simple maths, simple moves, and basic level 2/3/4 plays that youll need to be a consistant winner.


If you like winning $20 a week playing as you do, knock yourself out and ignore every single thing is say.

If you fancy doing this as a full time job, or possible earning thousands without having to get lucky on the way, then listen to what the GOOD analysers on this forum say, and try and take some in.

not to rip or tear i myself do things that arn't right as i suppose others do. things in life, on the poker tables, and also at the dinner table. i have been shown, told and threatened for all most 50 years yet i still do them granted not all the time but still. i have two boys who do the same. now i don't know for sure but i suspect their children will do the same thing not exactly what did, but listen and pay no attention to what is said. my point being don't stop sharing advice if one line of a two page advice column gets through to one person i personaly think it's worth the price of admission" i thank you Eejit"
