Having been there and played the game, it was nice to see the opponents hole cards. Having scanned the entire length of the tournament there wasn't much that stood out as a "great" play. It was a very standard heads up match. Remember that pot odds don't play as big a part in a heads up match as they do in a full table. A heads up match is based more on playing the player rather than the cards.

The hand the eejit displayed in bold was the game changer, the Q3 vs 43. I was attempting to try to make a move and hope that eejit thought I hit the J and would lay down a little pair. Obviously he didn't by my attempts at selling I had the J, even though I showed strength throughout the hand. On the flop I bet pot, the turn I bet 2/3's pot, the river 1/2 pot. Looking at the bets I see my error, but either way it was a tough set of calls for eejit. That was the game changer.

Great match eejit and congrats on the win. I am willing to play eejit again in a heads up match and post the histories again, so long as this thread generates some good discussion.

Of course there was a time when I felt the tournament wasn't going my way. After the third hand (I believe) I got the feeling that no matter what play I made, something was going to bit me in the butt. I still tried to play the style and aggressive level I wanted, but it's hard when the blinds get up and you can't seem to catch a thing. I'm pretty sure eejit will tell you the same thing, only the opposite. Everything seemed to go his way. That is the luck in a heads up match.
