    Default POKER.COM SUCKS!!

THIS IS MY CONVERSATION WITH THEM --YOU TELL ME ,ARE THEY CHEAP AND EXTREMELY RETENTIVE,OR AM I WAY OFF BASE?
    LEGION666: Chat Request from PlayerAdmin

You are now speaking with Charles of Poker.com Support.

Charles: Hello LEGION666! How can I help you?

    Charles:

    LEGION666: I had to work and missed my aussie freero;;

    Charles: Ok

LEGION666: can I get one for today maybe?

    LEGION666: please

Charles: No, you never had a coupon for this tournament. I am sorry but I can issue that for you,

    LEGION666: yes I had a coupon

    Charles: What was it called?

    LEGION666: aussie qualifier daily one

LEGION666: if you earn 400 pts in 24 hrs

Charles: I am sorry, but as they do not carry over and reset after the 24 hours I cant give that to you. I really am sorry.

LEGION666: do you know the one I mean

    Charles: Yes.

    LEGION666: you are joking right?

Charles: No, I would not joke with you.

Charles: You need to play the tournament when its scheduled, I cant reschedule the coupon.

Charles: The way it works is that you earn the comp points and play, then earn more, play another tournament.

LEGION666: well I cant believe you cant spring for a ticket which I had but couldnt use cause of work

    Charles: I am sorry.

LEGION666: you can see I never used it

    LEGION666: can I chat with a supervisor

Charles: Yes, but it disappears after the tournament. The only way you can get another one is to earn it via the comp points.

LEGION666: its not like I want something I didnt earn

LEGION666: just want to use it

LEGION666: and I had to work last 3 days

Charles: I know, and I am sorry, but the tournament entry you did earn has been used and reset.

LEGION666: IT WAS NOT USED CHARLES--THAT IS THE POINT

LEGION666: CAN I SPEAK WITH YOUR BOSS?

Charles: I am not going to continue this conversation if you are going to be abusive. I have made it clear that yes, you are asking for something you did not earn. It is no fault of Poker.com that you had circumstances stopping you from playing the tournament. If you want I can transfer you to my supervisor.

LEGION666: PLEASE AND YES I DID EARN IT

Please hold while being transferred to Ben of Ben Warren.

You are now speaking with Ben of Poker.com Support.

    Ben: hi, one moment please

    LEGION666: HI Ben

Ben: Now unfortunately we cannot give you entry to the next one, as it is an automated process. It does explain in the requirements for the tournament that the comp points have to be earned in the 24 hours before you register for the tournament. I'm sorry you missed out because you had to work, but comp points earned several days ago were obviously not earned in the 24 hours before the next tournament

LEGION666: am I wrong or does charles not see that I did earn 400+ points on saturday, but did not have a chance to use my coupon because I had to work

LEGION666: you guys are really something

LEGION666: and I obviously think thats cheap and really crappy--I aint askin for all that much

Ben: well I'm sorry you feel that way, but it is how the freeroll system works, as explained in your player admin

LEGION666: I'll make sure and post my experience with you on NDN forums to let everybody know what retentive fools you are

Ben: so basically you think you should be given some compensation for something, ie. you working on the day of the tournament, that is in no way our responsibility?

LEGION666: dont want to break the rules now,---no I just want the chance to use SOMETHING I EARNED

LEGION666: how is that bad ??

LEGION666: why cant the coupon be valid for a week?

LEGION666: if you updated my points faster I could have played that day'

LEGION666: this is crazy--you act like I'm tryin to get something for nothing!

Ben: I can understand why your annoyed, but the simple fact is that this is how the freeroll system works. If it was some issue on our behalf that made it impossible for you to play in the tournament, that would be a different matter. But it wasn't

LEGION666: I did earn the points--but that dont mean squat to you

LEGION666: gee dont you realize some people can only play 1 day and have to work 5-6
    days

LEGION666: and cant play in the next 24hrs

LEGION666: but hey,---dont be flexible, make sure you do everything by the book

LEGION666: shows how much you really give a crap

    LEGION666: THANKS BEN,YOU'VE BEEN FANTASTIC

Ben: sir, it says on the eligibility page that the comp points have to be earned in the 24 hours before the tournament. If you already knew you had to work, there doesn't seem to have been much point in trying to get entry in the tournament, correct?

LEGION666: MY GOD ARE YOU THAT TIGHT?

LEGION666: DID I EARN THE POINTS??

LEGION666: DID I USE THE COUPON ?? NO

Ben: yes. Does that mean we should indefinitely roll forward the eligibility for you, especially when you already knew that you had to work that day? No

Ben: I'm not discussing this with you anymore. Goodbye

Your party has left this session.

Sorry Legion, but I agree with poker.com on this deal.

I play there A LOT, so I have earned many coupons. The restrictions are set very clearly on their page that details their promotions. They give theses seats away for free, so begging them for another is, forgive the cliche, looking a gift horse in the mouth...

Just go back and get another, it doesnt take but 30-40 minutes anyway...

Please, dont let this experience ruin your feeling with poker.com, they are a great place, and it seems you just misunderstood their terms & conditions, and they followed the rules they set.

    Hi ImDMan666,

While it is unfortunate that you had to work and weren't able to use that coupon - I respect that Poker.com has rules in place and that it is the players responsibility to make sure that they are aware of those rules.

They were honest and polite with you during the conversation and assisted you in every way they could while following their own rules.

I think Poker.com is a great place to play - And one of a few good rooms that are left for U.S. players to continue to play.

Once again I am sorry to hear about your situation - But I believe Poker.com was fair about it.

    Thanks,
    NDN

    Default I DONT AGREE

    I DISAGREE
I'm sorry but thats bull****, it wouldnt have cost them jack to give me a coupon and I feel that they were pricks about it.How bout the end of our chat ?? He just cut me off and thats that?? I'm sorry , but that's not customer service. That is VERY rude and VERY unfriendly. I will not EVER play their again and have already closed my account.

    Hi ImDMan666,

I am sorry you feel that way. You made the right decision by closing your account - Afterall - Who wants to play somewhere that they won't enjoy playing!

I still stand by my previous comments. I thought Poker.com was fair and abided by the rules that are clearly available to all players. I also feel as though they provided great customer service and ended the chat only after you became unfriendly yourself.

They were fair, patient, and respectful. You can't ask for anything more than that.

    Thanks,
    NDN

Default that is not how i feel

    I completely disagree!
I think they are tight as a frog's a$$ and think that Charles was an idiot, telling me that I didnt earn the coupon --when I did,but couldnt use it.
Second point is this, how rigid can they be regarding a FREE tounament entry? It's not like I was trying to get over on them.
Lastly,I dont know where you were raised, but the " I'm not discussing this with you anymore,Goodbye" is the rudest and worst way I've ever been spoken to by somebody that is trying to keep me as a customer. It's his DAMN JOB to discuss this with me ! Until I feel that I dont have ANY other questions for him,he should still be in that chatroom!!! Try ending with "is there anything else I can help you with ?" you A**HOLE !
That is what did it for me,cause if anybody that worked for me did that,I would FIRE THEM.

What i like most about your chat is the following line from poker.com

"Please hold while being transferred to Ben of Ben Warren."

    Ben of Ben Warren?!

    Lmao

P.S. I agree with Poker.com, i had the same experience once with VC Poker where i actually won a SnG to a tournament that they hold every night, however i never realised mine was for the following night when i couldnt play. They never budged on it and i had to lose my seat.

    i agree with poker.com mate.

If u qualify for something via points, and its a tourney for 1 day only, and u miss it, its tough luck. 400 comp points does take about 15 mins though, so i dont see a problem!!! If your playing poker on cash tables, u r obviously winning, so win more and earn more!!!

    Hi again ImDMan,

I was raised in Minnesota (we are some of the most polite people in the world). While I understand your frustration with not getting the coupon and not getting the outcome you requested in the chat, I still believe Poker.com followed their rules and you can't blame them for that.

Regarding the chat, when a person begins to use sarcasm and typing in all CAPS it sends Poker.com the message that there is nothing further they can do to help you and it's in their best interest to end the chat and continue working and being productive.

If you think about it, clearly they were firm on the fact that they weren't able to give you the coupon and continuing to discuss something that they couldn't offer wouldn't make much sense and would only anger you even more.

These are just my opinions. Obvioulsy we are all entitled to our own.

    Thanks again,
    NDN

hmmmmm, i agree with borg and poker.com. You have to get the 400 comp pts within 24 hours, you dont get a coupon for the tourney. once you recieve your 400 comp pts for those 24 hours you are able to join the tourney. Also, Poker.com can't bend the rules just for youre pleasure, i find poker.com to be a great site aside from the time to time river.

Yup. Tells you in player admin about the Aussie Freeroll Qualifiers. I've missed out on some of mine before due to work. Big deal, get over it.

I just want to add to all the above - that once a rule exists - it does exist for ALL players. And it needs to be upheld for fairness to all.
It just cannot work that individuals ask - and some do and some do not get exemptions - It is not right for me to expect to get something that others cannot!
It sure is a bummer - so was my A high srt8 I flopeed today- that was killed by a pp 10 that became a boat on the river.... It is a bummer ... but ... we move on. I will not stop playing poker cause of it... hmmmm or should I?
