best golf movie is caddyshack, period. notable mention to happy gilmore. Worst is, yea, the legend of bagger vance. I mean come on. Will smith and matt damon, uh hum... rounders... and it was horrid.

well of course caddyshack and then there is tin cup and happy gilmore. thats all i know. i have never even watched baggar vance. is it worth it. if so i will download and rip tonight.

Caddyshack and Happy Gillmore are the best!!! I have actually played golf many times on the course Caddyshack was filmed at. They sell alot of gopher headcovers!!!

Not so much i didnt like it, but a movie with will smith and matt damon, and thats the best they could do??? Nah, more like huge let down then a bad movie. I could list movies that those two are in seperately that make the top 50 all time... but together i would have expected something great, and i got meh. :-/

I would venture to say that the best golf movie is caddyshack hands down. With the classic bill murray, rodney dangerfield, and chevy chase, it was obviously going to be a box office hit. There hasn't been much to come since then that was even nearly as good as caddy shack. That little gopher or whatever it is that bill murray tries to run around and blow up the entire movie makes me laugh just to think about. And Happy Gilmore is up there somewhere too. Just a different twist of comedy, but monumental nonetheless.

I thought Caddy Shack was *** as hell ( like volleyball scene in Top Gun ***) But I dont really see why anyone thinks any of those eighties movies are funny... Porkeys, Animal House, National Lampoons. Never found any of them funny. Tin cup was OK. Happy Gilmore was funny as hell... Never seen Bagger Vance. Don't think I would be able to make it all the way through that.

Did anyone else ever see "Dead Solid Perfect" with Randy Quaid? This is a movie comparible to Caddyshack. It is great for the golf comedy lover. If you have the opportunity to view it I would.

What's the movie with Snoop Dogg where he's out golfing and he's talking to some other guy and all he talks about is how much he knows about "grass." I can't seem to remember the name of the movie, but you gotta admit that any movie with Snoop Dogg dressed up as a golfer has got to be hilarious.
