Hi Asz,

After you've been here a little while and have had a chance to look around, you will soon realize that all of our comments in this thread are justified.

This forum offers it's members more than any other forum online and we all took offense to his post.

I'm all for everyone having their own opinion and I encourage them to share it, but I would greatly appreciate if people would do a little research before they make a post insulting this forum when they actually don't have a clue what they are talking about (like the initial post in this thread).

i would and shall agree with that whole heartedly but i will remain with my angry mob comment as well. there really isnt much sense in the mob running the newbies into a corner with the comments that i read in this thread. no he shouldnt have disrespected the site if he was interested in being a member. that much i should say is a given. but maybe (and i am not disrespecting you, but making a comment) just maybe the thread should have been closed before the mob began to rally around with pitch forks, tar and feathers. it is just that it makes someone who is less confident or self applied, more than a little intimidated. just my observation is all. and about all i have to say on the matter. oh yes and so far this is a great site. and i have seen many names i have seen else were so that in itself says volumes too me.most of thoise names having what i shall cal la very good and respected standing in the poker forum world.

I'm not sure there would be any sense in allowing people to criticize the forum and then close the thread before anyone has a chance to respond...

The reason we all responded the way we did is because the member clearly did not spend any time learning about how the forum works before he decided to make a public post criticizing it.

I will never allow people to make baseless claims and then close the thread without allowing people to respond.

yes that is a good point. and a fine honorable manner of fairplay. i am just possibly...... (i say that with a grin) a slight bit over the top when it comes to mob behaviors. so i shall say could just be my issue and not really a common view most new members might have.

but just for the sake of options they could always create a new thread addressing the issue if it really is that offensive to them. hmmmmmmmm maybe the answer for my own self in a nutshell. yes yes very well could be

I agree with every NDN said, obviously.

The first thing people should do on this forum, is respect the way we do it. This forum is like no other, and if you dont come here with at least some level of appreciated for it, then youll quickly become disliked.

Their is a great level of friendship here, and i can speak for everyone and myself in saying that I, and others, always help out new members with any questions that are striaghtforward or said in a nice tone.

And yes you are new, but you can have an opinion. IT would just make sense if you thought about it froma different perspective

Well reading this entire thread made me some-what shocked about what some of the members think.

Specifically the new members. I agree with NDN and Eejit.

This is a different kind of forum than any other I have ever been apart of and there is a certain level of appreciation you have to have to understand how everything works.

Plus complaining about something without being informed about what ever is going on is completely ridiculous.

Oh well, complainers will complain.

But we have a FAQ and About section the newbies should check out.

i DONT think"mob mentality" had any thing to with the members responses to this particular post.he came here and posted emphatically that chip games "are a complete and utter was of time" and i think that if he had researched the forum he would not have been able to make such a post.he posted without any idea of how the chip system works or how NDN works.he came looking for a password and when he saw he needed chips too buy the password he started his forum bashing spiel.i may have been a little pissed off with him as i tend to take personally when someone calls what i do a waste of time . i just wish that i had paid a little more attention to the forum when first i joined boy what an eyeopener when i surfed the forum NDN really is different from other poker forums and i found that GREAT.and i am not a newbie to poker forums i have lost track of the number of poker forums i have joined even moderator at three and offered mod job at another ,even a member of a couple of foriegn language forums lol so i give a good review to NDN and would take affront to anyone who disputes that.well thats my rant for today
