Just to clarify, I think NDN was talking about where the field/house were in that movie, which is actually about 25 miles away from the city I was in. All of the city scenes in Field of Dreams were set in my hometown, and my grandma was actually an extra in the movie! Unfortunately, all the scenes she was in were left on the cutting room floor

Well that's still relatively close, but yeah good point. And I don't think you ever told me that about Gramma! It's too bad all the scenes were left out- do you know if any were added back in perhaps as a DVD extra?

My Aunt and Uncle looked and did not see her in any of the DVD extras. I havent looked myself or anything though.

That's lamesauce. I think I still want to re-watch the movie though when we rent Take This Job and Shove It and F.I.S.T., as I said I'm pretty sure I've seen most if not all of it, but it's been since 6th grade I think.
