I have never shared this with anyone here, but I am a professional
pool player. I have won over $5000 in tournemant play in my life.
I have been playing since I could see over the edge of the table.
My most 8 ball games won in a row was 37 and I won 4 tournaments in a row.
I want to share with you a shot I developed years ago that has been very successful. WARNING DO NOT TRY THIS SHOT IF YOU ARE A NOVICE
You will hurt somebody.
Breaking
Some don't realize that in 8 ball, you don't have to hit the head ball first.
What I do is cue my ball as far right as possible and put as much low right english on the cue ball as possible. I then hit the second ball on the right of stack as hard as I can, drawing the cue ball into the side rail and back into the rack, where the 8 ball is usally sitting with 1-2 other balls. The 8 ball will go into the side pocket 1 out of 10 times.
I have made this shot 3 times in a row in tournament play.
Be very careful trying this shot. too little english and you scratch
too high of english and you are chasing your cue ball
Make sure you chalk your stick and be prepared to be amazed.
