The old poker forum AJPoker used to do a lot of staking. With the regulars who had been with the forum for some time it worked great. The problem came from new people who would be granted a stake to get them interested in the forum. They would lose the stake in minutes, then come back begging for another stake, as if losing quickly was going to impress anybody. People would mooch there like hyenas, as if the site was there to enable the sick-minded.
