well staking works when someone puts up your buyin so u could play in a tourney. well i susally only stake players that i know will win. as for the payout. it usually is 50/50 plus the person who staked gets there buyin back plus 50%. but each one is different it really depends on how they agree for payment. if the person doesnt cash thats the chance u take. no one gets paid. thats pretty much it.
same her usually 50/50 but i have seen places where ats 60/40 in stakers favor
Thats looks very good for the point of view of the player.
If he looses he dont looses his money, but his reputation, whats rellay worst.
That pressure, plus the pressure of him making only half of the pot must make players much better sometimes. If he stays in a position where he paid his entry, that must make him much more worried about his image.
Ive staked many people, and been staked lots of times.
My usual deal for games is 50/50 plus stakeback. So if i send u $100 for a game. And u win $500. You send me the stakeback ($100) then half the profit ($200).
If im staking someone who im dusious about, ill do 60/40 my favour, unless they final table when its 50.50
If someone goes realy deep, ill throw them a bonus, so if they win $2k on a $10 stake, ill get them to send me $750 and keep the rest.
Ditto. Theres money to be made both ways staking, provided you have a good horse. BAPS are pretty good too, buying into a share of someones large tournement, or series of large tournements, winning whatever percentage you bought in for. If you have 5 or so horses running games for you, you could make a decent weekly salary :-p. theres no staking on this site rite? i remember ive asked before but dont remember gettin response.
