I disagree, checking the turn induces river bluffs from him on most cards, which this could have been. If i bet the turn and he raises. Am i folding AQ? if he calls am i check callin the river?

What happens if the river is a 7 or less card and he bets the same
What hands do you beat if he check-raises the turn? Any check-raise there seems likely to be a set. If you think checking the turn induces a river bluff, then you call, muck quietly, and this isn't an interesting hand then is it? You and I both know that there is exactly 1 hand that you had beat on the turn that now beats you on that river- KK. And him having that would require him limp-calling with it, which I suppose he could do but thats pretty fishy to me. As far as I'm concerned that river is a blank. A river below a 7 would be more scary to me, as if he had some low suited jank he might have made 2 pair or a straight.
As far as the river if he calls, you are in position are you not? I'd check through if he calls then checks, if he calls then bets out I think he's on a draw, so I'd call on that river and think about one that completes a straight or flush.
welloking at it now he wasnt gonna fold no matter what. he probably put u on AQ or AK and he hit 8 then got the A on turn so no matter what he wasnt leaving. it was just a bad play by him to call but maybe u should have raised a bit more preflop to get him off that hand. well lesson learned. i know its happened to me. lol
5x is enough there, i wanted him in the hand if he had A8.
Plus if i bet differently there preflop, too low and he is calling with anything. Too high and he folds or pushes and im commited if he does. That range i raised was right IMO for the hand.
I jut got outplayed ont he river.
