Ive signed up for MLB.TV - Watch Live Out-of-Market Baseball, TV-Quality Streaming Video | MLB.com: Subscriptions, and firstly, its awesome.

However, you dont get the ESPN coverage, so you can watch either the home or away feeds, the home has the home announcers, and the away the away teams one.


Now ive watched all the games, through most of the commentaries, and ive noticed something.


There are only 2 decent commentry people there.

Now, im gonnac larify why.

Firstl, i understand its local ish TV, but if its a National feed surely the Chicago White Sox comentators cannot be saying "our team", and *****ing about calls, the umpires everything.

IMO thats unprofessional.

This is the same for a fair amount of teams. The Rays were ok, but they were very one sided in their appluad for certain players.

Then i watched the Yankees feed vs the Rays. My god these guys on YES are good. Know all the info about both teams. Complained about the umpires call when it was FOR their team! They are a calssy act and ive yet to hear a better one. Very professional, and all their banter and chat was interesting. On CSN and the Dodgers feed, my god i wanted to shoot them for going on about some random person for so long.

Then i watch the BRaves. I promise this isnt biased. They were classy. Knew everything. Praised the Cubs plays when they turned Double plays or great at bats. Liked their pitching. WAs great, and informative.

Also good was the Twins. Same again.


I dont get why the CSN Network can be so biased. I turned it off as i got that pissed off witht hem.
