Finally Seeing A Profit

It's taken me a while, but I've finally started to profit at No Limit Hold'Em. I'm definitely still pretty new and not playing high stakes poker by any means, but my sessions have finally started to see a profit. I just wanted to thank all of you for continuing to help me become better at this game- even the times I've been dealt a bad beat or played a hand terribly and lost. I've always learned something and I know I'll continue to do so. I love playing with you guys. Thanks NDN especially for allowing me to post and play here so I can earn the money to play on FullTilt! You rock.

Hey Tay no problem. Sorry my absenteeism delayed this response for a little while, and I'm still working on navigating the forums. As eejit mentioned in his former replies, remember most of the aformentioned concepts are only applicable correlative to your increase in game stakes, which for most NLHE players, is a gradual process. I've been playing 500 and 1000NL for the past 2 1/2 years in the live arena, however, I got my start with poker through 5SNGs on Bodog back when I was 19 years old in 2004. So I've been through all the obstacles of the low-limit online arena as well. It is difficult to find the right tools to beat a game that is seemingly based on value alone. I would like to suggest that once you are perfectly comfortable with one table, you try out running two games (consecutive SNGs or 2 ring-games), as you will quickly find that multi-tabling low-limit games will yield favorable results. You should find yourself less frequently involved with marginal hands, while giving yourself the opportunity to extract equity from a more expansive field of weak-loose players.
