its pretty sad to see the magic go down like this. i thuoght they had a very good shot at winning this series but once again free throws proved to be very huge in this game. i just dont see how you can be a "PRO" and not be able to make at least 80% of your free throws. I guess that would be asking to much. any ways i guess kobe will get the ring this time without shaq.

I absolutely cant believe they lost that last game. I sacrificed some good sleep in order to watch it as i had to get up at like 5 that next morning. Bleh, they lose it at the last second again. It seems like at the end of regulation none of them knew what to do. I think they showed a clip of a few of them smiliing like crazy when there was only eleven seconds left, and you just knew something was going to go wrong. That was one of the most embarrasing let downs i have seen in sports to this date. It seems like they have no shot at coming back in this either belhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Lakers win lakers win. I'm surprised the magic even got one game in there. It sucks because theyre actually a good team, they just dont have Kobe Bryant. Sucks for the Van Gundy's too, I was a big knicks fan when van gundy was the coach (best nba moment ever is when can gundy is grabbing one of the heat by the ankle and being dragged across the floor, he is quite literally the man) I wish i wasnt wrong in calling it in 4, but hey, whatever. Kobe deserves it man, shaw's an a hole!!

Yea, Jackson has proven time and time again that hes a great leader. Heard a lotta talk about him having the star players in order to win so many playoff seriess and championships, but just because you have the best soldiers doesnt mean you're going to win the war. If you incapable of playing to each of their strengths then its still possible to lose. You can have every advantage and still mess it up, so hes definately doing something right. On a side note, I always admired phil jackson ability to remain calm, always. You would see van gundy running up and down the sideline yelling like a maniac ( like a true van gundy ) and then you'd see phil just chillin out keeping calm... its definately good for team morale when the leader is not only calm but always has a plan. On a funnier note, I could SWEAR that jackson is wasted at every game. I didnt think much of it until i saw him in a halftime interview; he was kinda slurring his words, and he actually like burped and excused himself in teh middle of a sentence. Anyone think that Jackson is wasted most of the time hes coaching, or is that just me? I admired him for his calmness and demeanor, but the more i think about it, the more i think hes a drinker, which is why hes so calm. any thoughts or am i just blowing smoke??
