little off topic. but if you like boiler room, you might be happy to hear that they are doing a sequel. theyre bringing back michael douglas's character gordon gecko, and the young stock broker is going to be shia lebouff (spelling?? :-p). Cant watch any movie made within the last year without seeing that cat. anways if you like boiler room, check it out. And as for people being dumb and falling for that stuff, it definately happens. read an artile about a guy who, through emails, recieved and then resent stolen merchandise, upwards of about 40k for him in shipping and handling, all because of the promisies made by teh girl in his emails that'd she come see him and all that crap. It was actually a news story; so they interview the guy and he obviously doesnt know hes being scammed, as him and the reporter talks, he starts to get it.... it is by far the saddest thing i have ever seen... this guy like, sut realies that he gave fourty thousand to someone, all because of the promisises of sex or love or company, whatever it was to him... real sad(im not trying to be a jerk, it truly is like sad). Ill try to get the link to the video. (note: there is nothing you should want more than to be self-aware) i think all these scammer and telemarketers should be buried in a mass grave... lil harsh, but if you think about the amount of people they help versus hurting... its easy to make teh decision

well has anyone gotten that stupid your car warranty is about to expire phone calls. well i have complained about it and finaly the feds are fed up. they have pout a lawsuit against that compnay and they have halted them . its funny i though i acted like i wanted there service then told them to f off. then another time they called and i asked for a supervisor and they hung up on me. all there numbers that would come up when i tried to call back it was a invalid number. i mean they were so bad that they call my house phone mine and my wifes cell phones and even my on star satellite phone. how they got that number had me puzzled. i hated them with a passion. anyone have this call?

wow expired car warranty that sounds like a scam that you could get a lot of information out of someone and your everyday person would probably be none the wiser until it was too late. too busy out the beating the sh*t out of your car cause you think its still under warranty lol

had a guy call one time and it sounded like a scam, he was selling windows and I have been around that trade just enough to ask the right questions to hear his voice change when he tried to backtrack. I could hear like 30 people in the background chatting like we have all heard telemarketers do,to get rid of him I let him set up an appointment for a representitive to come out and measure for an apraisal for ALL new windows. I failed to mention that at the time I had lived in an apartment building. lmao never heard from them again.
