Since the Scrabble high score is insane and would take hours to go after, I've instead invented a game for myself where I try to score 500 points on the first round. It's a good time killer at the college, gets my brain working, and fulfils any Scrabble fix I may need. An ancillary part of the game is to try to make the largest word you can make. I've been able to make a few nine letter words, like "acquitted".

That scrabble blast score is insanely high. How many hours did it take you to get over 28 thousand. I got to 11 thousand and gave up. It probably took a little less than an hour to get and my score didn't even post. Somehow when I was playing the game it logged me off the forum after a certain amount of time. Congrats to you on the high score because there is no way I will play that game for hours. It gets really boring after a few minutes.
