    Default Firepay

    Hey guys,

Does anyone use Firepay? Check it out you might have a withdrawl fee now. I went to make a withdraw from my account and noticed a $10 fee. These have always been free and were so up until two days ago. I also noticed that the deposit fee has gone up. Mine used to be $3.99, now it is $5.99. I sent an email and the response I got was "Unfortunately this fee must be charged to defray the processing costs associated with withdrawal transactions". The lady didn't bother answering why the deposit charge went up.

Does Neteller charge for a withdraw? There is no way I am paying $10 - especially since I only want to take out $33.

Neteller has a fee if you get a bank draft, but it is only $2. I don't like giving out my bank info so that is what I used. Still $2 is not bad as far as I'm concerned.

I haven't used Firepay in quite some time (switched to Neteller) - But a couple of years back I seem to remember them always having a fee for withdrawals. I can't remember if there was a deposit fee.

Firepay may be raising fees to try to capitalize on any extra traffic they are getting due to the current legislation. They seem to have missed the radar while many people fear Neteller will soon be out of business.

Regardless, I would still switch to Neteller, $10 per withdrawal can get to be quite expensive.

Thanks guys, I did not withdraw the money from Firepay, I put the money back into my UB account. I ended up opening a Neteller account though for future transactions.

I just got an email from Bodog regarding Firepay "FirePay has elected to no longer process transactions to our site and other online gambling sites".
