Packing and Moving!

I just moved in to my new apartment today, and after a huge mess and stressful day, I'm finally starting to get settled in to my own place. Klinkman and some other friends and family did an amazing job helping me move today, and they deserve all the credit! It made me wonder though, do you love or hate moving and everything associated with it? As for me, I hate it and it completely sucks! I only wish I could help with some of the grunt work, but alas the most I can do aside from just sitting there is make phone calls to coordinate people if needed, or tell everyone else where I want things to go and give moral support. Oh well, such is life. Anyway, how do YOU feel about moving?

I hate moving!!!! I have moved so much I lost count of how many places I have lived. One day, I'm sure I will stay in one location.

I hate all of the work and mess and stress that goes along with moving. However I do love the feel of a new clean and all put together place to live, with the idea of a fresh start in mind. That part is a good and a comfortable feeling to me. But the bull chit that goes with it is a big fat pain. I have moved many times. Some of those times the move from one place to the other was far apart, like from one state to another. That is even worse. So I try to stay put. I have lived where I live now for almost nine years. Hopefully the next time I move I will be buying rather than renting! That would be wonderful. That is a move I think every one wouldn't hate too much!

moving sucks bad. i hate it. one time me and the wifey moved while she was pregnant and omg the fing hormones and pissiness was driving me nuts. it got to the point where i told her to move her own stuff. she said put this here no put it there and so on. totally insane women drove me to madness. lucky i wasnt a paid mover or else i would have boxed her up and sent her to a mental institution. take my advice dont move while ur wife is preggo.

When I moved 2 years ago I just payed someone to do it. I can not stand to move but if you have to you have to. The only thing I like about it is when you get to set up the new house.

I would rather burn all my things before I would pack them up and move again. When I moved into this apt. 8 years ago I was ready to shoot myself.

I can not stand moving! Packing sucks! Hauling everything sucks! And unpacking it all really sucks!!! And I can never seem to find everything afterward, there always seems to be something missing. Everything about moving sucks!

i HATE moving, i do it so often toooo. I just moved into a new house this month and still don't have the time to unpack everything. it's so tedious and boring and somedays it just doesn't seem to be going anywhere... and it still looks like nothing has been accomplished.... maybe by next weekend i'll be done unpacking and settling in and can have my house warming party! YIPPPEEEE!!!!!!!

I hate moving. It's the worst ever because of the packing. I hated living in doorms for that reason. Every semester moving in/out totally drug down the appeal to me.

Hey..
Im moving.. To a place more to the south of BRasil.
Will live with my girlfriend.
So I hope she can alow me to play poker later on..lol.. ( i will manage somehow)
Wish me luck on my moving..
Moving of a city is much much worst...
Iven more if you dont have the money to pay for the transport..lol..
But will all be good. (caring 10 boxes on the bus)

I think everyone here absolutely hates moving. I know from personal experience the two times that i have moved during my life that it is a very stressful time for me and my family. Nobody wants to forget everything and everyone starts to fear that they will miss all the amenities that there old home held for them. The hardest thing was moving out of my first house as i had worked so hard on every facet of it.

Well to be the truth, my dad did by himself, because my mother is more of the teller in the relationship than the do-er.

Anyways painting was hard on him and difficult, so you might not want to be painting that house, lol.
