What was the widest night you ever had?

I tryed to let my mind run wild,
But the door was locked and a do not disturb sign was on the handle.
I tryed to look in the window from outside and
I fell and tore my pants. From the yard, I could see shadows
dancing through the blinds. Then an awful sound echoed from
within. A sound like screaching fingernails and smashed melons.
Then the lights went out.
That's when I ran.

I can assure you that no smashed melons were involved.
