My final thoughts are this:
I can't believe American Idol allows telphone voters to vote hundreds of times and also allow outside American votes.
The judges are the professionals, be professional and do the voting.

Now Adam
All because of an obsessive craze that has swept over the south.
I guess this is payback for having a Black President.

Well I am no stupid bettor.
I had $9 on Kris @ 11-1 odds 3 weeks ago,
so I got 75% of my money back.

I'm a little sad because Adam definitely earned it in the long run, but now that the show is over I guess I really don't care what the results are. I expect to see more of them (likely more of Adam though).

The finale show actually was worth the watch (for the most part). A few good duets in there (Kris & Keith Urban were good and Adam with Kiss wasn't too shabby either).

It really seemed to klinkman and me that we watched a completely different show than the judges last night. Mad World was definitely the best song of the night, but we basically felt the complete opposite of the judges on every other song. My parents also felt that the single was more suited for Adam than Kris, and even went so far as to say Kris couldn't hit the notes, which klinkman and I didn't get at all. Kris' version of "What's Goin' On" was especially well done, so it's refreshing to us at least that a majority of the votes tonight came from the people who were watching the same show that we were watching.

I don't think Adam needed it to have a career. He'll be fine and move on to make millions and an awesome record and tour.

Kris needed the win for a career to be established or else he would turn into another idol no name we do not remember 4 years from now.

Ok I came to a conclusion AMERICA has no clue what a good singer is. ADAM got screwed he was the best through out the show and then to lose in the final.

But I have to say the final was the best IDOL I saw so far. It was nice to see bands like KISS, QUEEN, and the rest that were on the show last night. My bet is that ADAM will go much farther then CHRIS will. I even think Alison will be a bigger star then CHRIS will.
