Anyway, has anyone here heard about a rumor going around that President Obama and co. is going after online gambling within the United states? I was talking to some other poker buddies and they thought it was just hogwash, but I'd really like to know if anyone has any concrete proof. The last US law that was passed was the 2006 Online Gambling Act which made foreign entities liable for any losses the incurred from US players on their sites. That means that if you get credit from a foreign sites ( like a credit card refuses to pay after the site has already given you money to play with ) then you don't have to pay it if you are a US citizen. I think you should pay it, just for the record, cause gamblers are generally ethical. Anyway, I'd love to hear if anyone knows either more specifics about this 2006 gambling act, or if you know anything about something new. Thanks
