    Default Donkaments!!

Well ladies and gentlemen, I have had a lil bit of experience in the life of online poker. from my earliest days, being fresh to the game, not knowing a clue about online poker, to now, where i have educated myself on the subject as much as I possibly can and still im learning every day. Bankroll management, draw-odds, pot odds, good starting hands, maximizing you outs, online tells, as well as several online poker schools and full tilt poker academy.

One subject which I have found very few articles on, probably becaus the subject is so sorely hated, is the art of donkaments! I bet every poker player ou there has seen someone call someone donk, fing donk this fing donk that, and seen an e-fight where some painfully sore loser is super pissed his KK lost to 5-7 suited or some similiar scenario. Maybe you have even been called a donk yourself, laghing it off as just getting lucky, unaware that this is a vital part of the game.

I have said it a thousand times and I will say again just for the heck of it. You cant wait on AA and KK all night long or people are gonna pick up on that wiether through thier own actual intellect, or through some kind of poker tracker itll pick you up and exspose you as a rock, or someone who only plays solid hands. They will force you outta blinds, and try thier best to donk you when you actually play, thus the pissed off KK guy above

I have found that playing a variety of hands, will increase your chances of people reading yuor good hands, and you will successfully pick up some donk pots along the way. Your good hands have a better chance of getting called by the now rocks at your table increasing your chances of having a very easy read of your oppenent going into the pot. Be just as agressive with the junk hands you play, but choose them wisely. Pick junk hands that can make a straight or a flush, try to keep em suited too if possible. The more outs you have the better chance you have of cracking the poor guy/gals KK or AA. J7 suited 87 suited 56 suited 57 suited 910 suited are prime examples of hands that will increase your donkaments, and conceal your good hands. Ever seen some donkin, donking people left and right, and then some guys goes all-in with kq suited thinkin that the donk will call with his usual junk, and surprise, surprise, the donk has AA this time? lol It happens all the time and dont think that all these guys doing it out there dont know what they are doing. Its Donkaments dude!!!

Yes this can be kinda touchy of a topic. Anyone that has played poker has been called a donk and won donk pots regardless if they truly are a donk player. (i.e; someone who keeps going all in or playing stupidly because they just dont care about the game or the players) It is wise to switch up your game by "gambling" with the lesser starting hands and when people do this and crack dominant hands surprise surprise the loser gets mad. It all kinda goes with the nature of the game nobody likes to lose but if every hand turned out the way it "should" the game would be boring and almost certainly wouldnt have the following that it has today.
