bad run number 5 of the year

im on a really bad run of cards lately, im forced to get lucky as all hell in tourneys because i get my big hands when im severely short stacked. im talking like 1200 left and the blinds are 100/200. I know what your thinking, i need to make more plays earlier, but online poker players are REDICULOUSLY agressive lately, i dont get it. People shoving all in with JUST TOP PAIR...I dunno, if i had the damn bankroll for a 100 dollar buy in, i think i would do very well in the tourney. I really dont like playing long ball for eight-tenth's of the tourney. Im a small baller, through and through. I am contemplating switching to completely Omaha, and HORSE exclusively. I'm a feel player, and i also love crunching numbers now, and in holdem, any two cards can win, which im starting to realize. The worst of it that it took today was when a very aggressive player was shoving like 1/4 hands preflop. I pick up AA in early position and i limp, he shoves, AGAIN, sweet! i snap call and he flips up KQ offsuit flop QQ3...blank blank....FN DONKEY! I am really starting to think that bad play is the way to go in tourneys because all i see is idiots playing crap cards, and winning.

All i can say is, i have a final interview for a SWEET job(salary, benefits, and paid vaca) this thrusday and im thinkin about not even touching online poker until i get that job. I feel like iv'e taken it up the anal-gland all week from online poker...i dunno

Bad runs happen its the part of poker that separates the pros and the amateurs. Bad runs are like the flu take week off and not play or play for a week in the low limits or free tounreys or even come post on NDN. then go back to what works the best. for example i am a 20 to 50 dollar mtt tourney player, my most profit came from a mtt in those ranges. so if i play a couple and i am not hitting cards or geting out played i move down to 5 to 10 dollar ones until i feel like i got my mojo back. If that doesnt work i go to horse or omaha. heck one time i was running so bad in everything my only game i can make a profit was stud and its hard to win money there.

the point i am trying to make is switch games frequently and lower your limits or just take a week off and go fishing (or somehting you love to do)

but he alredy says he is a micro player or low limits so me i like low medium tourneys from 2.20 to 22 all bountys or gaurene only ones i play i love super turbos and turbos
