Benjamin Franklin was ....well let's just say he is the only man to have his face of US paper currency that was not a president of the United States of America. His signature is on the Declaration of Independence too. He must have been a well respected man. But I am not sure about all the wrinkles n stuff. Interesting post sloeddie. I can appreciate most of it, as I am a very old woman!

Benjamin Franklin wanted the national symbol to be the turkey, not the bald eagle. I'm surprised he didn't want it to be teh cougar. He would have loved that new show Cougar Town that starts on ABC this fall. Get that aged meat.
