welcome to the site. I am new at the game also so I am one of those players that make mistakes. There is only one way to learn and that is to keep trying. I have never encountered any bullying but have seen it at the tables.I think that some of the players (not people here) feel that they can get away with saying what they want because they are not face to face with you.

We are not all bad apples at all. First impressions tend to stick, but please give the rest of us a chance to show you that we are a welcoming community. It seems like only yesterday, I felt like I was the target of some negative vibes, but others told me the same thing I'm telling you now. While there might be some jerks out there in any aspect of life, you just have to ignore or get over it, otherwise you won't enjoy the rest of the world. I am fairly new to this site as well, but i have yet to come across anyone hostile or rude. You have to understand a bit about nationalities in order to accept people of all etiquettes/manners though. Some countries may appear to be more rude or blunt than people in other countries, wheras in fact this is just typical everyday banter for those folks. But if it was indeed offensively rude, the poor fellow or gal was likely having a horrible day, which is very common in poker.

With that said, im sorry for the offensive player, and welcome you to the site. There are alot of great things to read and be involved with, not to mention alot of great info on the poker/casino industry that you may find particularly helpful.
