We have a celebrity here in Susanville.
Coach, one of the remaining 6 on Survivor lives
here in town. My wife thinks he's a lier and wants
him booted off. I kind of like him but don't like the others
so I'm rooting for our local boy Coach.

Anyone have a favorite?

dude coach is fing ahole. i hate him with a passion. he is so full of himself it makes me sick. local boy or not he sucks. how can u be rooting for him. how about his story where he was in the amazon by himself and got captured by the natives and was about to be killed but he got away. what a crock. him and his dragon slayer mentality. can u say fantasy world. i hate him i want JD to win it. hes a good ole country boy. im not from the country but he is the most honest player. but whatever coach blows. BAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I haven't watched survivor since the very first season. Is it still good? I guess it must be because it keeps getting picked up but it's just not my type of reality show honestly.

Well you will all be happy to know that Coach is having financial difficulties and lost his job. He has applied at the college to coach and wants to pruduce a musical locally. I don't think he has as much support here as he thinks he does.

I've never watched Survivor and I don't really plan to- it's not my type of show. That being said, I never root for the local talent simply because they're local. If they're the the most qualified contestant, fine, I'll vote for them because they deserve it. Otherwise you're just the same as any non-local contestant. The same goes for favoring females over males. I refuse to do it unless they really are more qualified.
