    Arrow Question about craigslist

Ok my question is has anyone ever applyed for a job from craigslist. I have sent out 9 e-mails to jobs posted and got no replays from any one of them. NO JOKES HERE PLEASE I just want to know has anybody ever used craigslist for anything and did they ever get a reply. I would be greatfull to anyone that has used craigslist and got a reply. Because I think it is just strange that I got no replys from any of them.
    THANKS DALLAS12

Dallas, yes I have used Craigslist on many occasions. I have both sold and purchased items on Craigslist. I did not have any problems but I know people that have. The problem with them was they sold some windows and the people gave them a check. When they took the check to the bank they were almost arrested for trying to cash a fake check. I think Craigslist is awesome. I believe that it can be used in a positive way. The important thing is to protect you by paying attention and not making any bad choices when using Craigslist. Be careful not to fall for a scam. People unfortunately are all to often quick to rob and deceive. It's a shame their can't be more honesty. But if we didn't know and understand dishonesty, how then could we appreciate honesty at all? Use Craigslist just be cautious.

    Default Risky indeed

I would not be sending random resumes out over craigslist.
Too many scammers! Send out letters of interest and if you are contacted back, then use your own best instincts from there.

I agree with Ringo tenfold on this one. Scammers and craigslist are to be looked out for, for sure.

I have not sented out my resume but I did say if you would like I could send you my resume. And most of the companys I know I would not send out any info to any one on the net in less I knew who I was sending it to. I would like to thank you all for the info you gave me on this question.

No problem. I don't think I helped that much but if you say I did, I guess I did. The only thing about that site is to be cautious. Really really cautious, because I have heard many horror stories.

I personally have not used craigslist as a job finder. I also don't know anyone who has success trying to get a job from craigslist.

Jobsonline.com is the source where I found my job and it was great and did what they ask.

    Theres also a website snagajob.com

Hope I helped with the helpful sites. This economy is something else and right now I'm just thankful that hubby and I have jobs to begin with.
