    Default Bankroll Management Rules

What bankroll management rules does everyone follow?

Or do you even bother following any rules at all?

There's so many choices and so many rules people say to follow but then again I'm not sure which ones to follow and my willpower can suck sometimes.

    Please let me know.

    Default No deposit needed

My only rule is never deposit your own money.
There are plenty of ways to start a bankroll
    if you are patient.
It's the only rule I know since I'm poor.

i dont follow the "furgusen" rule by any means, mainly because all my money in my roll came from me cashing in my chips from this site...so i usually do about 10-20% of my stack, and i turn in alot of small wins, like maybe 5-10 here and there...

I think it's a good theory, but to me it doesn't seem like you will be able to win a lot of money in that rule.

But then again if you just want to pay some bills and buy some extras it good be a good rule.

I just think you'd have to be really patient in freerolls and I'm not that patient.

But its a good rule for me and others with not much free money in this economy so thanks for that.

Well all I have right now is the money from NDN I cashed in a while ago...I just play in the cheapest tourneys on FTP. I probably am over my limit for my bankroll size at this point, but they don't have anything cheaper. I'm just going to keep playing and try to keep my bankroll alive until I can get some more money with my chips. Hopefully I won't have to make a deposit myself, although I'm not opposed to doing so at some point.

That's what I was planning but I've already thrown away too much at ftp. I'm gonna have to wait before I deposit there again to be honest.

I wish there were cheaper games on ftp myself.

Although I like their payout structure much better.

What klinkman and I both really like about FullTilt is their blind structure. It makes so much more sense than the Merge sites. He wrote a post about it yesterday, I don't know if you read it or not. Why there aren't cheaper games, I don't know.

I think a majority of the reason there aren't cheaper games is because the minimum deposit is 50$ and at pokerstars for example it's $10 so there are able to play the smaller table because they want their customers to be able to play.

    But that's just a theory.

i really enjoy the cash structures on carbon, but the tourneys SUCK the payouts and the buy ins are crap...the play is somewhat better on carbon, but i agree ftp has the best tourneys
