    thats tough eej,
i dont know what your table image was at that time, but i def wouldnt 5 bet AJ, even if you had position on the guy...if a donkeys gonna call a 5 bet with JT, hes gonna call a 3 bet with JT...my personal philosiphy with this hand is small ball, if u turn a big hand with it, then you continue with small ball and value bet. With that said, i don't know your personal style so im not gonna judge, the guy got luck and hit his 3 outer...it happens, and in a tourney with the preflop raise and the pot size on the turn, your forced to play long ball and shove hoping he didn't hit his 3 outer...
i don't neccessarily think i owulda changed gears mid hand with this flop, so u played it right...

Argh, its my mission to stop you sayig 5 bet and 3 bet! 3bet = raise and reraise, 5 bet = 2 more reraises after that.

You mean 3x and 5x big blind (BB). Mwah!!!!!!!!!!!!

And im just wondering if anyone slows down on the turn, as im assuming the flop bet is spot on.

yeah flop bet was good and as for the turn. i mean there is nothing threatening to u. i guess u could slow down by checking and see what he has. but would u really fold if he pushed. thats what u need to ask yourself. only thing is trips but even then. honestly it was luck for him to win. he rode your coat tails and hit. it happens. kinda sucks though.

Eejit i think your opponent had a read on you or put you on AJ..........because he raised you when he hit two pair. that means he felt you didnt have a set. its rough and i certainly don't play AJ very aggressive like that. i play AJ like i have a A5 suited....looking to hit two pair or flush up.

but thats a tough hand and he got lucky on that turn.what are you going to do.

That's really a tough one. I think I would have played it the same way. Every poker player knows these kind of bad beats. But although you know it, it's always frustrating again.
