Did I tell you the story of the thanksgiving trip my family
made to the Bay area 1 year. We were so broke and
still drove 300 miles to visit inlaws. While waiting for a signal light
at 280 and saratoga off ramp, a scruff looking fellow was holding a
cardboard sign claiming he was hungry. I never gave a bum a dime before that day, but today I gave him $5 of the $45 I had. I don't know why I did it.
I still don't know why. But Karma sure hit me hard. The next day on the way
home, I pulled over to get gas and in my pocket was $540.
I later found out that my dad slipped it in my pocket giving me a hug.
Funny, his mother use to do the same thing to me when I was young.
So, I give to charity every chance I can get.
It's been a while since I have given.
I can't wait to find out what happens.
It's going to be a great summer.
