    Default Wow... intersting link!!

Firstly the link - Scientists find most Earth-like exoplanet ever - Yahoo! News UK

Secondly some maths, just cos i love it.

This planet is 20.5 light years away

A light year is 6 trillion miles.

Therefore, this planet is 123 trillion miles.

So, as im bored, lets say we want to drive there in our car.

This would take 200 MILLION years. Travelling at 70mph, which i figued is the speed limit in most of the world.

However, there is no speed limit in space...

So lets take a fast, pretty (to show the alien friends we make nice cars) and comfortable car..... i think this one - Aston Martin DB9 - Aston Martin - The Cars - DB9

(if that car pic didnt turn you on then you need shooting)

And say we drive it at the maximum speed possible, and one tank of gas gets us there...

    If we left today, 2009ad.

We would arrive at precicely... some time in the afternoon, on July 16th, 73,902,513 AD.

So just a touch over 73 trillion years to get there.

1 - Build a huge ramp, like for a big carpark, but 15miles tall.

2 - Just aim in the right direction down the road, and off you go, you dont need to steer, just miss anything with gravitational pulls. And if u do need to turn, add side rocket thrusters to adjust course.

    3 - Cyrogenic freezing..

Go ahead and shoot me, I guess, because that car definitely doesn't turn me on.

And yes eejit, you are certifiably nuts! That IS a really really long way away though, I'll give you that.

lol.... Count me in! I mean since we are imagining all of this^^^^^^^ above we might as well imagine we will also live for the next 73 trillion years while we are on the trip to get there. Sooo..... I will go if I am not going alone. :O

I heard that from another friend of mine who lives in the UK (Plymouth). How unfortunate! How about I eat extra for you?

Tay that was nice of you. There for a minute I thought you were gonna send him some or something.

By the way guys we are gonna have to bring another car or switch to a bigger one with more seats. "Just and idea", Chevy Tahoe's are roomey and come equipped with DVD players both in the front and back. Nonetheless we may need to use 4WD through some areas.
