i dont agree with tip #1, i catch more cards when i just caught a buzz...its a proven fact, plus i make better decisions when i'm inebriated, for some reason...this doesn't apply to the rest of life's meaningful situations...

with # 1 i turned a 100 into 1100 and i just got home from the bar....and when i was sober i was playing weaker. haha but overall its not a good idea because you might play out side your limits when your drunk but if you sit down with money that you have put down as a lost already then who cares if you drink and lose it. hahaha just a thought.

I have often called river bets when i am 99% sure i am behind to see what their opening range is. However i will say i dont do this often, and only for information. Once you have the information, you shouldnt need to do it again

I think there's a difference between being just "buzzed" and being wasted though like esmordan was saying. Overall though, I think his points are pretty much right on. Thanks for the post, it's always a good reminder even for seasoned players.
