    Default St. Louis Blues

I'm giving a shout out to the St. Louis Blues for finishing 6th in the west. I'm not even really a Blues fan, but I like to see the old Norris Division teams do well, particularly when they haven't done well in a while (that means you too BlackHawks). I'm particularly happy for Blues GM John Davidson, who was a great announcer for the NY Rangers on the MSG Network, who has now helped turn the Blues around.

They have been the best team in the leauge since mid january. Its a impressive turn around. The blues have the reputation for choking. It has yet to be seen if they have turned that around yet. Its cool they have done all this with young kids.

The blues downfall was always either there unluckyness with goaltenders or just there pure refusual to actually go and and spend some real money on one. Maybe they have found a good one now after about 10 years of bargin shopping, hope so.

The fans in St. louis are real fair wheather when it comes to the blues and rams. The cardinals can suck absoulte arse and stil come close to a sell out every game. The blues and rams have a decent amount of die hards, but alot more people show up to the games; and there is a whole hell of a lot more buzz around the city when they are doing well.

I see the blues maybe going 2 rounds into the play offs then getting knocked out. Then everyone will go back to the choking reputation stuff... However, it wont be as bad as it was 2 or 4 years ago since they were the worst team in the leauge last year... Anything is a step up from that.

I dont know anything about them, except the team sounds like its depressed ( get it? )

I should watch more hockey i think, but right now i dont even have time for abseball and that is just never good!!!

I think i need to quit my job and move to the USA.... or Canada.

Then again St Louis has all the sports franchises, and they are all really popular.

well the blues wont win another championship unless the get grant fuhr, al mcinnis and pronger back. as for st louis being a great city umm i dont think so. u need to move to california if want great cities eejit. i say they will beat the canucks in 6 games. the hottest team coming is the carolina hurricanes. they had the best record down the stretch they were 9-1-1.

SHARKS are gonna win it all.

NJD leads the series 2-1 and they face off tom. night.................

Devils will win another Stanley Cup

And i would not recommend to live in New Jersey, its not that bad but i grew out of it.

Well, the St. Louis Blues got swept. I was hoping they would win at least one home game though. Blues fans haven't seen a playoff win in a while, and it would have been good for that hockey market. They are a very young team however so hopefully they'll stay healthy, get better and be back in the playoffs. Kudos to General Manager John Davidson for getting his young team there.

Its funny how as soon as opening day for the Cardinals got here you barely heard anything about the blues anymore, lol. Its gonna take a while for them to get back to the Grant Fhur, Mcinnis, Pronger, Tony Twist, Kelly Chase days.
