ok so i have compiled a "to do" list while sitting at a cash table, playing virtually any limits... so here goes, *please* all members feel free to add to this list if i forgot any valuable information...

1. Look for the amount of money total for you to win before sitting in at the cash game...(you dont want to sit in with 20 bucks and have everybody there tripled in chips, thats how you lose your money to worse players) I usually look for a table that has atleast 4 times my buy in to win with only one player bigger stacked than me.

.Set a time limit or a max cash out limit...i usually do 1 hour and double-triple my buy in, when either of these are reached, i stand up and leave...

.Decide based on how your table is playing, how you plan on adjusting your play. This is pretty simple, if your table is playing pr tight, you play aggressive, BE SMART, but aggressive. If your table is playing loose, play tight, and play LONG BALL, big preflop raises, and big bets on the flop. If your table has some of both play, decide if this is even the table for you, because it puts more pressure on you to change gears constantly. Keep that in mind.

.Figure out based on your tables normal betting patterns, what your image pattern is going to be, mine is usually a 3-4 bet preflop depending on my position, and if im reraising, usually 3x the bet regardless of my situation in the hand and what cards im holding...

.DON'T SLOW PLAY...unless ofcourse you flop a full house or the nut straight or flush...then give some free cards...slow playing your decent hands like trips or 2 pair, generally only gets you 2 things...a checked down pot, with barely any money in it, and a lost pot on the river...

.Find the weak players at your table and attack...go after the players with like 1/2 of your stack and bully them, unless they are solid players, then adjust accordingly.

.Take notes on as many players as possible based on their hands they show down.

.Every hand your NOT in, you should still be in mentally. Play the "guessing" game...try to put one or all of your opponents on hands or a range of hands, consider it practice for when you are in a hand with these people.

.If your are not there emotionally, walk away...if you hit a terrible beat and your fuming and you cant stop thinking about it, stand up from the table and walk away limping with your money you have left...
