What do you think about playing rebuys... if you don't intend on rebuying? Just played a live 50$ buy-in. Didnt play a single hand other then the SB one time when I caught Aces... 3/4 the way threw the rebuy period now. the blinds were 200/400. I had about 1,600 left out of my starting 3,000. The guy sitting to my left had about 7k... I get Q,10 spades. Push all in pre-flop thinking I might get one caller but prob not since I havent played but 1 hand all tourney long when I had Aces... "F" no. three callers... One with A,8 os and one with 4,5 suited. Flop comes Qh,7s,5d. The guy with the ace pushes all in. The other guy calls him. turn 5, River 9... Are you F-ing sheeting me. Cum the "F" on. The rebuy was 35$ for 2k chips. You can take 2 rebuys... and a 1,500 add on at the break. I said "F" this and put 10 on roulette. Lost that 2, great, thanks... I usually never rebuy. You only win like 1,400 for 1st usually and they pay like 6 or 7. If i would rebuy twice and add on I would pretty much have to finish 6 or 5th to even win my money back... I have played about 12 of these and chopped 1/2 once for about 1k and cashed twice for another 500$. I have only rebought once and added on once. Both in the same tourney that I ended up cashing for like 170$... -My stagety on these tourneys is just try to double up by the end of the rebuy session by playing only monsters. Then kind of get more loose with a tight image when rebuy session is over. I only pushed with Q,6 today cuz I have got blinded out the last couple of touneys and didnt want that to happen again. And I really didnt think anyone would call me, but I guess I should have. They were playing bingo crap all day long... Have any suggestions on my stragety? or what you guys find works for you?
