Alright, being official "scout", I have found us a game tonight, at NDN's behest. So, I am going to do it this way. Why? BECAUSE I CAN!

$20 buyin, 100 seater.

Also, in the future, I definately want to get into those big games (especially in that 20k HH at Jet coming up). However, to maximize profits, were going to have to get in on satellites, at maximum of 30% buyin I would say. So, if we want in the 20k, no more than $30 spent trying, and half that for the 10k. I think the HHs would be prime for this, because getting into the 20k on $30 would be very profitable, with heads likely being at a minimum of $25.

If anyone else in the 10 knows of good satellite ideas, or against it, or anything related, feel free to post.

I really dont know the schedule, seems to be some that popup frequently, quite a few also. Ill keep tabs throughout the game.

I missed the $20 buy in tonight....not sure how.....but I DID!!! I registered with 30 spots left....and I showed on the list!!! Then a few minutes later it was full and I was no longer on list....I believe anyways!!! I WILL not miss another one....I will do a better job of looking in this section daily!!! I didnt even know the tourny was happening until about 30 mins before it started. I am here to fully support this league and all of you in it!!!!! I am sorry for tonight!!!!

you need some new rules, or this is a serious waste of money, try this one....


No more than 10% of the tourney bankroll in at one time.

10 people get a buyin, all the winnings are pooled between players. After the pool gets its money back, the winning are split evenly among finishers.

Or

10 people get a buyin, all winnings up to the buyin are sent back, then 50% of anything over that you keep, therefore losing the pool less money.


Currently the first game was at $150 for 10 entrys. You had a 1 in 10 chance of placing each. so 1 person a game should place. So the equivalent buyin for us is double the actual buyin, as the pool isonly getting 50% of winnings. SO its $300 to get a certain place looking at the odds. To win that back for the pool 1 player must come top 10 minimum to make the pool break even. This wont happen every game.

Rules need modifying, figured id put some thoughts out there.

We definently need to play in GTD games where the pool is much larger than the regular buy in pool would be. Also, just my two cents, but I didn't enjoy the quickie too much. The blind levels are so fast that even when you're above average you cant compete with the blinds and antes.

I haven't had a whole lot of time to think about any of this. The idea popped into my head during a stretch of being up 40+ hours. I then slept and have now been up 40+ hours again. I will sleep, wake up refreshed, and figure out what the hell we are gonna do!
