i was playing at a cash game .25-.50 blinds last night.

we were playing Pot limit Omaha hi/lo and i get dealt AA23 unsuited. the best stating hand.

i raised pot pre flop and i got four callers.

Flop came Ac 4h 9c

it was checked to me and i potted it again for 19 dollars and i got one caller. and i knew he was chasing the clubs.

turn came Qc

he put me all in.

I snapped called b/c any pair gives me the better hi, any low card gives me the low.

well the river was a 7 and we chopped the pot.

on the flop you had the nut nut with the nut high and the nut low draw

too bad that board didn't pair up for you instead then you get the big fat SCOOOOOOP haha

but u def played it right....idk about snap calling his pot bet on the turn but since i was there it was the right move with how much was in the pot and how much u had left

aka pot odds were right to call

I do believe that you are wrong about the best starting hand even for hi/lo. I believe the best starting hand is AAK2

there is actually a dispute wheather AAk2 double suited or AA23 double suited is the best omaha hi lo hand......either way they are both in the top 2 lol still a well played hand

Ya you were pot committed, however you might wanna slow play it slightly in the future if there is a flush draw out there in case it hits as it did. Luckily you hit your low on the river but you don't always get that lucky and it would have been a huge loss instead of a split. I always used to do exactly what you did, but trust me get burned a couple times with that hand on the river for some major coin and you may look at it a little differently. jmho
