I see that quite a bit, but I guess I see all hands relatively the same amount.
Wow........... constructive....
haha that same guy called me again with ace weak drawing dead this time tho haha thats so great the call with ace weak is so bad you ace either raceing or way behind anytime you make that call
ace weak is a hand i like to play in position, because if he/she does have a PP, your gonna hit an ace on the board about 65-70% of the time, as long as noone esle has an ace in their hand...however you have to know your players to play ace weak bc someone could be playing ace strong out of position and bet right into you and you could lose alot of money...trust me eric, just limp with your Mid-Lo PP's, so much easier to throw away postflop if you dont set up...
The only way to play low and mid pocket pairs is to see a flop for no more than 5x the bb. If you do not set on the flop and it's got overs, just let it go. If you flop all unders, which is sometimes hard to do, bet around 2/3 the pot and see what happens. I would love to see a hand history to for the hand you are talking about so we can help you with street based advice. Since you didn't post a hand history, all I can give is generic advice. If you have a pocket pair that is under at least 2 cards on the flop and someone is betting, it's best to just let it go. Don't go fishing for 2 outs, you don't hit them very often.
8% f the time to be exact, and not all the time will they help you
it seems like you shove with a pocket pair. you are racing when you do that. at best your going against a ACE weak. Just like kingsinthehole said if no one else has a ace in their hand , a ace hits 65 - 70 percent of the time.!!!
i bet you the ace doesn't hit 65-70% of the time....and i'm open shoveing small pps when i am short stacked or calling all ins of short stacks not when i can't lay it down postflop
you have yer percentages backwards in 35-30% that an ace will hit ther flop
