I have in the past.. It was a great experience..

I actually took him into my home and let him do what he needed/wanted to do (shower, shave, good food, warm place to sleep)

I had to move downtown because of this, but whatever, I came on top of that situation as well. The guy was over charging for his place anyhow.

Back to the point, I'm in NC right now but everytime I hear a homeless guy in SD ask me for money or a Cigarette, I try and talk to them.. Some are crazy, don't get me wrong, but they are that way for a reason. Although some are that way because it is chemically sane, but others have lived both worlds. They are not elaborate of any such but real.
