Default Fav old school slasher movie!

i dont know about anyone else, but I love a good, bloody, killer/slasher movie every once in awhile. The ones that have sexy college aged kids kids going out in the woods, partying, and getting drunk/stoned and just having crazy sex. My all time fav old school slasher is a nightmare on elm street. what is your fav old school slasher movie? Im not going to do a poll for this as there is just too many to list.

That sounds scary but I haven't seen it. That would be the most scariest thing to happen to someone and their friends. Being in the woods scares me enough to never go into the woods alone. I don't even live by the woods, which is a good thing but I would never just go out there for no reason at all especially by myself.

My scariest movie is Saw. It's so gross and gory that it scares the bajeezies out of me. I had to watch it with my ex boyfriend because I really wanted to watch it but was too scared to see it without him. We were going to go to the theater to watch it but I was nervous that I would scream out loud and make myself look like an idiot. It was nice to have my ex to hold on to. That guy was so creepy! He's really old and just wants to slaughter people! Omg that was the scariest movie I've ever seen.

It is based on a very good book by stephen king. Ive read the whole paper back version which is like over a 1,000 pages long several times. Love that book, the movie doesnt do it justice.

I guess I'll say "I Know What You Did Last Summer" Franchise.

It starts out in the perfect way for a slasher film to do.

Just four teenagers that are celebrating their last days in a small fishing community/town and they end up drinking heavily on a beach.

What's not to love about that?

Then a bit later, they drive back into town and wham!

Hit a man who is trying to cross the road and stupidly dump the body in the sea because that's way smarter, than risking getting charged for manslaughter because of an accident. Owe and by the way, the guy isn't dead yet, so they decide to drawn him, and it will all go away right? Wrong.

This is one of the greatest plots for this type of movie/genre in my opinion.

It was made after Scream which is great also, but I love this way more.

Probably because it stars Jennifer Love Hewit, Freddie Prinze, Jr., and Sarah Michelle Gellar.

    Oh and Ryan Phillipe too.

All in all it's a pretty entertaining movie.

Or it was when I was thirteen.

Well, I would have to say Friday the 13th. It scared me to death. When I got home from the movie my little sister had set up our bedroom to freak me out some more. She also dressed like Jason and scared me in the middle of the night. I was having a sleepover at the time so my sister got us all pretty good. When I was a little girl I would have night-mares after I watch scary movies. I would wake up screaming and my parents would come to calm me down. To this day I don't watch scary movies, they still make me have nightmares. I prefer a good comedy anyday of the week over a scary movie.

OMG the exorcist just about scared me to death. I screamed and covered my head when that girls started to spin around. I did not watch another second of that movie. I was 14yrs old and I still vividly remember that. Never ever watched the ending. I was over it. Still am!

It's okay Lori, I don't like scary movies either and refuse to watch them, even if they are only PG-13! *hugs*

It's true but most of my problem with scary movies (and things that scare me in general) are noise related, and I don't think he could cover my eyes and ears at the same time. But he could try, I guess. I just hate sudden loud noises, and hearing people talk about violence or killing people or whatnot is just hard to get out of my head once I hear it.

I'm guessing you didn't like the movie White Noise then?

    Right?

It was a weird movie anyways.

I like looking at everybody's horror movies stories, and favorites though.

    Nice thread here.

    Nice indeed!
