I was playing a private BuyIn tournament 10/1 $ on an iPoker skin with 200$ added to the prizepool and apparently, we only had 11 players registered - the final table was reached pretty fast and I was able to build up my stack to 3.9k from the original starting stack of 2k without any big showdowns but one, where I took out a smallstack with 66 vs AK in a preflop all in confrontation (550 chips on BB 100 and he pushed from utg). After the break the blinds got up and the average stack was not really that big, thats why it was basically push or fold modus.

Alright, lets get to the nasty part, we are 6 or 7 players left and im 2nd in chipstack, I look down to a raise from an aggressive player in EP and get dealt pocket Jacks ... I think about it and put him on either a small pair or AK / AQ - I raise the pot and all others fold to him, he thinks about it and I knew that he was weak and only got a small PP. I was right but he committed himself too much and shoved with his 33, I called quickly and the flop showed 6 8 7, turn was a 5 and he was drawing to the 2 remaining 3s to win the hand, if the 4 or 9 would have come, it had been a split pot - surely disgusting for me in that hand, but better than losing. Of course the iPoker river awards the move with his set of 3s and I am pretty crippled and last in the chipcount, you can imagine that I was not really pleased LOL. A few hands later I find a spot to shove and can steal the blinds twice, building my stack back to 4th place and 3.8k ... than iPoker meant it good to us and the Chipleader took out 2 players in the same hand with KK vs JJ vs Q8s, the board brought Q and 8, but also another pair and both got busted.

It was time to get lucky but I didnt even need to, as the dealer felt guilty and decided to please me with pretty decent starting hands like AK, KK, ATs, and so on. Surprinsingly the most important pot got won with a battle of the blinds, when the chipleader fillep up with K5 off suit and I was happy to see a free flop with my weak Q4 off suit - the flop brought Q 3 5, turn and river had been blank and my Queen was the top pair. On the river I fired out a bet for 2xBB just to get reraised to 4xBB and if I had lost the pot, I would have been down to approx. 4.5xBB - I called and seen his checkraise bluff. This pot gave me a very good spot to get in the money and all played tight with 4 left and 3 paid, all didnt want to bubble and catch the payout. By that time, my streak began again and I got dealt KK ... the chipleader raised from utg to 4xBB (BB was 400) and I quickly moved all in with my whole stack on the 2nd place. I still cant understand why he called my all in for 3/4 of his stack with AJ off suit, but this time I got "lucky" not to get outdrawn by the usual iPoker Ace beat and crippled the former chipleader and also took him out a few rounds later with KJ on the BB vs his Q4.

The payout was reached and in the first hand I get AT hearts and take out one smallstack who had to push with A5, the HeadsUp was also pretty quick and I benefited from some really good starting hands and a tight opponent. The last hand was typical and my opponent tried to slowplay ATs, I got a cheap flop from the SB with J6 off suit and the board showed 4 3 5 Q 2 with 2 spades and 2 hearts. I knew this hand would seal my win and a 3betting started, finally my opponent got all his chips in the middle and I quickly called with a big smile on my face. The slowplay caught him and I took down the tournament and 155$ for 11$ invested, nice overlay and finally a bit of confidence for me that there is justice at online poker. Yesterday I was playing 4 HeadsUp on Carbon and I hate the MergeGaming Network for its ridiculous beats ... I went in 4 times with the better hand preflop and got busted 4 times, the worst was A4 vs 58cc and a runner runner flush and AJ vs 79h, when my top pair on the flop got called by the 9 high flushdraw and the river of course completed his flush.
