Why do you have casinos listed that are banned/blacklisted by the Online Players Association?
Why do you have casinos listed that are banned/blacklisted by the Online Players Association?
Can you please direct me towards the OPA area where I can view these casinos and clean up my list.
I would appreciate it.
Thanks

I can't find the "real" list from OPA's site cause they seems to only show approved casinos and neither anything lower than that (not approved but as well as blacklisted).

What does it take to get on the "bad guy" list at "OPA"
I hope it takes more than the players word for it.
I agree with you Ontilt.
I took a quick look through that list and was surprised to see that Sci-Fi was on there. It's my understanding that Sci-Fi is one of the safest places to play online. Does anyone dispute this? Regardless, I get emails from time to time with the heads up on "bad casinos" and I remove them after doing some research. So as this site grows I will be able to spend more time "cleaning" up the casinos that I promote. Please use the "bad casino" section if you have a specific casino with some real evidence of a mistake on their part and I will decide whether or not they should be removed.
Dencrypt, what does it take to get on Muffmoney's black list? I have used Casinomeisters blacklist in the past to help clean up my lists and will continue to do so in the future because it is a fairly credible source of information.
Anyone can make a site and name it something like "Dangerous Casinos" or a more offical sounding name like "National Safe Casino Network"
And post the places he and his friends play at and win.
I mean can someone get mad at Casino XXX and have it on that list because they lost a bunch of money and never hit a bonus round on a slot? Or a poker site because they lost to 3/7 off-suit too many times?
I agree, I am not too familiar with either site (Muffmoney or OPA) and am not sure what it takes to get on their lists. However, I do trust casinomeister's list and will use it again in the near future.
Is Sci-fi really a bad place to play?? That's the only one that surprised me about the muffmoney list...
THe muffmoney blacklist is extracted from the real list. However, the list gets updated now and then and I don't think this list does that. The same list can be found just by google for "OPA blacklist" on other sites. It's quite renowned in the gaming community and OPA is an organisation who, in my opinion, got a great reputation. One complaint are probably not enough to get on that list and sometimes the nomination for it might be a bit harsh. Players play on these casinos on their own risk. I sure as hell won't play on them anyway.
I hear you Dencrypt. Here is the list I used in the past, I haven't done a "clean-up" yet, but it is on my list of things to do.
LIST
OK, read that, thanx for the heads up people. 2 questions.....
1. What is "malware"?
2. What is "evil clan"?
And just to let you know NDN, Portofino was on the blacklist in the link you gave us
I would rather have the bonus' listed with a "play at your own risk" type warning then having them removed completely, but that may just be me.
I have heard nothing but good things about sci-fi casino for instance.
I even went out of my way to find something bad and all I found were a few accusations from players here and there on ez boards. Most of which were accusations that were never backed up or proven.
Not that anyone needs to prove anything to me mind you.
I use free chips just for time killing.
I enjoy seeing how high I can get my free chip or how many bonus rounds I can get out of them. I never have an intention of ever trying to withdraw from them, I dont feel that is what they were intended to do, so I always give all my winnings back to the casino if they are kind enough to let me play on it for that long, so I appriciate the bonus codes even from those "rogue" casinos.
Anyhow that's how I feel about it.
Some sort of warning to folks as to which casinos are safe to deposit at at which aren't is a great thing! But I sure appriciate the free chips even at the ones who aren't the best.
Thanks Ontilt, I will keep that in mind. I may add a section to the info page with the status of good/bad for each casino. I am also working on a better system to list codes so that everyone knows whether they are meant for new, existing, or both. I am like you and use the free chips just to have fun with. I don't make it a goal to cashout, but produce some nice wins to post in the "casino wins" section. I am always working on some aspect of this site, so in the next week or so it should be changed around a little bit for the better.
Thanks again for everyones input, I appreciate it.
Just to get back to this post while I am cleaning out the forum - I am confident that all sites listed at NDN are trustworthy. I am also willing and able to help any members out with any problems they may have at any of the casinos listed at NDN.
Please contact me via email if you have any issues in the future that you'd like some help with.
Thanks,
NDN
