    Angry Nice River

I don't know how "bad beat" this is, but for me it was a hurtful hand.
I started with 8,9 preflop, everybody just simply calls, flop comes its 9 A 8, so naturally after flopping 2 pair, I raise, guy beside me pushes right off the bat, I knew he had nothing so I called-- he had about a 1000.00 more chips than me. he Shows Ace 5 off..so I thought to myself, i have this guy whatever, turn comes it was a 4..then the beloved river, in which is usually good to me.. An ACE! like honestly, what ARE the odds..it really kinda pissed me off..and just like that my tourney life was over.. lol. Better luck next time i suppose.

Things like that happen all the time to my fiance in poker. It is really frustrating, I agree. We both often wish we could do away with the River card altogether!
