I Just won a deepstack on ladbrokes. buy in was $1.10 and won $222.14, ive had good wins before but as a student i usually have to take the money, this time im intrested in using this as a roll. Ive been playing micro cash ( 0.05/0.10) and built to $261. but thats in 3 days so things are moving quite slow.

I generally do better at tournaments, but play cash as well.

would anyone have any advice how to manage this roll effectively?

and is multi tabling to boost my profit a option?

You can use Chris Ferguson's bankroll management advice and only put 5% of your roll, or about $10 at a table at a time, or buy in to a tournament with only 2% of your bankroll. By using these rules, you will control how low your bankroll drops. If you feel better playing tournaments expect there to be long periods of loses.

My advice would be follow Ferguson's rules for cash games and play at the 5c/10c level until your roll grows enough to support a higher level. The growth will be slow, but you should be able to absorb some problems at the tables.

given that u have 261 in ur acct, 5% of your BR is the maximum amount allowed on any one table...so that would be about 13.50...i would advise you to buy in for a table max ring game of around 10 bucks, so thats probably the .10/.25 cents tables...pick your best game be it omaha hl or nlh/plholdem whatever, and bully people with your big stack, but play sound poker...raise it up sometimes with A5 suited IN POSITION. when you show down a marginal/crap hand and win...it pays off your aces, but make sure you play your aces just like your crap hand...if your a good pooker player you should be turning a great profit atleast one in every three sessions...turning a moderate profit in 3 of 5 sessions is just as good if not better tho...no hurting leaving the table up double your buy in...one last thing...at those limits, prepare for suckouts...know going in to any hand that your all in that you could lose to a very bad hand...given that its only 10 of your 261 it shouldnt hurt bad at all

Id definatley try to multitable micro cash games if this was available for you to do.....if not stick to SnGs and MTTs with buy ins less then 5$. If you go over this you are going to much over what your roll allows and usually if you go with less then 5$ you are going to be able to add significantly tto that roll!
