Moving Site = Downtime

I am in the process of moving NDN to a new server.

Unfortunately, that means that we will be experiencing some downtime over the next day or two.

I hope to keep this to a minimum, but it's out of my hands from here on out as to how long it will take.

Please note that there may be downtime for both the forum and the entire site or one or the other at any given time.

This will be normal - So don't panic if you can't access NDN!

I will let everyone know when this process is complete.

i was online when NDN was down and i thought it was going to take a long time and i was quite worried cause we have a game at PDC that day and i thought the game will be cancelled but i tested the NDNPT link and it was working fine and you can still access the password even yhough the forum was down but the password was just not yet available that time and after an hour or more NDN is up and back running.

I am having some trouble with reading some post. ND remember the other day the pm i sent you with what i was getting when i tryed to gain access to the post. Well i am still getting that on some of the post. It comes and goes but it is a pain in the A** when i go to try and read the post. Also sometimes it brings me back to were i had .08 chips. I had that many chips before you did this. Also the smilies are x'ed out-----> the ones over their in the reply area. Hope you can work this out or i just have to deal with it. lol Thanks dallas12.

You are the only one who is still reporting problems so I really have to believe it is an issue on your end.

Are you positive you have cleared your cache?

Please try accessing NDN using a different browser than your usual one and see if that helps at all. For example, if you are using IE, try using Firefox (or the other way around).

If that doesn't do the trick, and if you are certain you have correctly cleared your cache, then I suppose there is still a very slight chance that the site hasn't fully propagated. If that's the case, then all it will need is a little more time.

I am getting ready to head out on a weekend trip, but if this hasn't fixed itself by the time I get back, I will do my best to get to the bottom of this for you!

Make sure you are accessing the forums via this link: https://www.nodepositneeded.com/forums/index.php

If you are accessing the forum via this link http://nodepositneeded.com/forums/index.php (without the WWW) it could make a difference with your cookies.

I am also having an issue. My issue is that once in enter my log in and pw it syas logging in and then it takes me back to the forum and says i am still not logged in. So sometimes I have to actually log in aq few times, or it will say im not logged in and if i click a thread then it will show i am logged in.

Yes ND i cleared everything a couple of times already. And this is the web address i am useing:https://www.nodepositneeded.com/forums. So far in the last day and a half i have not had any problems. But about the smilies in the reply post not sure whats up with them i have not had the since i started with the forum they are x'ed out. Well have a good weekend talk to you later.

ok I will complain lol, that happens to me as well.I am used to it. However another grand run at a merge site! PDC Limp with AA at a 25 cent 50 game.Lil red gets AA preflop limp in!! A 25 flop. Lilred has trips!!!!!! turn comes J! Lilred gets raised, has his whole 18 dollars that he just won in!! Trip As after turn is golden right? not when bot has 33 and river is 4, I am so sick of this chit! I guess my vulger e--mails don't help but c-mon other than eejit who plays 33? OH yeah, just played the $5 turbo on PDC, and wrote these down for you.

A9 to KT on an A 8 2 flop.
KQ to KJ
AQ to A4
A7 to A4
AT to 55 ( a race, but still, i didnt win a hand!)

Then last hand and rebuy i ran 77 into AA QQ and AK. Sucks!

To get back on topic for a minute...

I will contact everyone who still seems to be having problems with the site tomorrow to try and get things fixed once and for all!

Lilred - Take a break! I know we all think we take more bad beats than anyone, but I'm fairly confident that I take more beats than anyone could ever imagine.

Sadly, my beats seem to come late in every tournament where winning or losing the hand is the difference between winning a few bucks or winning a few thousand bucks. I think Eejit has seen most of my brutal beats late in some very large tournaments lately.

I've taken a semi-break from any major poker playing lately. It KILLS me and my patience for the game when I take beat after beat after beat after investing several hours into each tournament.

So my advice is to take a short break and let your patience build back up!
